This policy explains how Zevar by Usman Waseem (“Zevar”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and keeps personal information when you visit our website, message us, or place an order.

1. Who we are

Zevar by Usman Waseem is a jewellery brand based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to take an order, deliver it, and support you:

• Identity and contact: name, phone / WhatsApp, email, billing and shipping address.
• Order details: pieces ordered, size or length, personalisation text, payment method (not full card numbers — those stay with the payment provider).
• Delivery details: courier tracking and proof of delivery.
• Messages you send us (WhatsApp, Instagram, website form).
• Technical data: IP address, device, browser, and cookies needed to run the shop and measure visits.

We do not ask for CNIC, passport, or bank passwords. Do not send them.

3. How we use it

• To confirm, make, pack, and deliver your order.
• To take payment and issue invoices or refunds.
• To answer questions and handle returns or repairs.
• To send order updates. Marketing messages are sent only if you opt in; you can stop them at any time.
• To detect fraud and keep the shop secure.
• To improve the website (aggregated, not to profile you personally for sale to others).

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with:

• Shopify (or the platform that hosts the shop) to run the store.
• Payment providers (cards, wallets, bank transfer) to take or refund money.
• Couriers, to deliver the parcel.
• Accountants or lawyers, if required to keep records or resolve a dispute.
• Authorities, if Pakistani law requires it.

5. Where it is stored and for how long

Order and customer records are stored on our shop platform and in our order files. Servers may sit outside Pakistan (typical for Shopify). We keep order records for as long as needed for tax, warranty, and dispute purposes — generally at least seven years for invoices. WhatsApp chats are kept as long as the conversation is useful, then deleted from active devices.

6. Cookies

The site uses essential cookies so the cart and checkout work, and optional analytics cookies to see which pages are used. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may stop checkout from working.

7. Your choices

• Ask us what data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct an address, phone number, or name.
• Ask us to delete marketing records. We may still keep an order file where the law requires it.
• Unsubscribe from promotional messages using the link in the message or by writing to us.

8. Children

We do not knowingly sell to children under 16 without a parent or guardian placing the order.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The version on the website on the day you order is the version that applies to that order.
